Do not use this company! Their customer service is terrible and the only way to get decent service is if you yell at them and demand it. They did not even know what type of service they were providing us which caused many many weeks of delay with our phone system...

I agree business practices vary, but it is always in the clients best interest to notify the existing provider in writing as well. Its in your contract language.
